Greetings!

Chances are you're here because I've applied for a position at your studio, or at least I'm hoping that's the case. To the right you'll see a list of titles I've made available for portfolio purposes. While not a complete listing of my projects they are at least mostly complete games and are playable. As I add some polish to some of the other projects I have, I'll be adding them.
With the titles I've put on my portfolio I am hoping to show progression in skill and ability. I believe that the history of video games is a road map in learning how to make video games. With today's tools making something like a 2D shooter game is relatively easy. However, going through and making those types of games, and publishing them, is an exercise in the game development process. Many of the lessons learned making the simple games translates to projects of greater scope and complexity. With each new project the scope and complexity increases, so that I always continue to grow and learn.
I've earned the degree, I've developed and published a game from the ground up, and I continue to expand and hone my skills. I'm ready contribute to, and learn from, larger production teams on bigger projects.

Respectfully,

Herb Fowler
Aspiring Video Game Developer

P.S. Feel free to keep any of the games I've made available, if you'd like. Share them with family, friends, or co-workers if you wish, but please don't distribute them beyond that. Also, I've closed comments for the individual game pages, but if you have any feedback for me concerning my portfolio please email me or leave a comment below.
